I am selling a 2005 mustang saleen and think I have it priced too low!! What is the best way to determine the value of the car?|||By using Kbb and here is the link: http://www.kbb.com/used-cars|||You should do a search of other comparable cars in the area. Keep in mind that a car in a high density areas will likely sell faster than those in rural areas.
You should find as many comparable cars as you can to get a good idea of a baseline cost. You should throw out the values of the highest and lowest priced cars in a list of over 10 comps.
Also you may call other sellers , private and dealers, to see what they are charging for thier cars, and what the lowest price they would accept is, you might have to pose as a buyer to get credible information.
Kellys blue book kbb is not completely unreliable because it gives you a baseline from where to start negotiations.|||Kelly blue book. Very reliable website|||go to ebaymotors and see the auction prices|||KBB is useless , their prices are always too high.
google " edmunds.com" it is much better.|||look at other peoples adds, duh...
