When do car values drop? the beginning of every year?

i am on kelley blue book looking at the value of a used car my mom wants to sell. will that value drop at the first of the year? or how does that work?|||There is no set day when the new values are released.

It used to be that there were 4 book changes throughout the year, so values were recalculated every 3 months. Then Kelly and NADA would release new value guides.

Now, I know very few dealers who use Kelly or NADA for values. We look at auction sale results for the last week and determine values with that as a guidepost. So you can reasonably say that your car changes value weekly.

KBB and NADA don't update their values as frequently. That's why I don't care for their service. The values they place on cars are seldom in-line with that of the true marketplace. Our values change weekly, not quarterly or annually|||My mums drops each anniversary that she bought it.|||yes evey year the price of all cars go down cous there is new cars.. each year

used cars they calculate the price of used cars by checking how many ppl had this car? like is it first hand or 2nd hand how many years she used it for all drops car price|||cars drop in price every day but only hit the site when the prices are updated|||drops whenyou drive off lot and goes down every day you drive it if you want to know what to sell a car for type into search box

wil bring up cars of same for sale can guess at pricing yours the same or about
