Dealers get new info every two months from KBB. The blue book they sell to the public is updated every 4 months. But most dealers no longer use KBB to appraise cars. They use info from Mannheim. That's an online service for dealers only. It tells them what every car is going for at auction today.
A car in Pittsburgh may be a hot seller but not in Philadelphia. Dealers need to know what the car values are in their distinctive market. Since Mannheim is the most current and accurate source, dealers rely on it most often for appraisals.|||It's done every two months, starting in January. They will provide values for Jan-Feb, March-April, May-June, etc
